Charity

At Eva Gentry, we feel it is important to give back to our community and help those less fortunate. It is our hope that those suffering from abuse, disease and poverty are awarded the opportunity to improve their circumstances.

CAMBA is a non-profit organization that has worked to improve the quality of life for thousands of New Yorkers since 1977. From CAMBA.org:

Specifically, we help people of low-income; those moving from welfare to work; people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or transitioning out of homelessness; individuals living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS; immigrants and refugees; children and young adults; entrepreneurs and other groups working to become self sufficient.

We are pleased to announce that we will be donating unsold Eva Gentry Consignment merchandise to CAMBA’s women’s rehabilitation and homeless shelters located in Brooklyn and to their program for victims of domestic violence. Items will be given to women for job interviews as well as those who have vacated their homes for emergency reasons and are left with little or no clothing. We encourage you to drop off any unwanted clothing items at one of our stores, even if we are unable to sell them on consignment, and we will deliver them to one of CAMBA’s shelters.

Visit www.camba.org for more information and other ways to help New Yorkers in need.

*Please note that if you are interested in selling items on consignment, we require an appointment. Drop-offs are for donations only.
